Sophie Pénisson, who made her thesis entitled Conditional limit theorems for multitype branching processes and illustration in epidemiological risk analysis , co-supervised by French and German researchers (Sylvie Roelly, Potsdam University and Christine Jacob, MIA Unit, INRA), is a prize-winner of the prize of the best thesis 2011 of the French-German University awarded by UFA and APEC (special prize of the jury).
