A multidisciplinary approach to biology

Molecular and cellular biology techniques and original animal models used at Jouy make it a pole of biotechnology and bioinformatics research. Our links to the health sector have developed over the years: animal reproduction, immunology, preventive human nutrition, food safety and medical imaging.

 

The centre's research topics:

  • Animal sciences: improvement of livestock populations through biotechnology at the service of breeding, genetics and health protection
  • Microbiology and human nutrition
