Ile-de-France - Jouy-en-Josas - Antony

The mission of the INRAE Île-de-France - Jouy-en-Josas - Antony research centre is to produce scientific knowledge, contribute to innovation and support public policies. Its activity is recognized worldwide in many fields, particularly in biology and biotechnology. Researchers from a wide variety of disciplines explore the complexity of biological mechanisms and the prediction of the functioning of living systems, mobilising the centre’s own resources in mathematics and computer science. The centre has 954 permanent and contractual INRAE staff and 583 staff from our partner institutions:  researchers, engineers, laboratory technicians, animal scientists, computer scientists and administrative staff. Together with the Île-de-France - Versailles - Grignon centre, it represents 20% of INRAE's staff and is a major player in systems biology within the University of Paris-Saclay.

95% of INRAE researchers in the Île-de-France region have opted for academic affiliation with the Université Paris-Saclay, a partnership that strengthens ties with AgroParisTech, a component establishment of this university, with which INRAE works in the Île-de-France region within the framework of fourteen research units in a co-tutorship arrangement.
