Our research priorities

Mathematics-Informatics-Predictive Biology

A remarkable community of mathematicians, statisticians, and computer scientists tackling bioscience research to increase knowledge on living systems and to develop modelling in biology. Developing mathematical and bioinformatic tools and processes makes biology more integrative and helps with issues arising from the flow, storage, and processing of huge amounts of genetic analysis data. At the heart of these approaches is statistical modelling, used at microscopic scales (genes, cells) and at macroscopic scales (epidemiology, ecology, agronomy), contributing to better mastery of scale changes
